It is the XII year this festival will take place in Trelleborg
in the southeast part of Sweden.
It is the third year this arrangement is a cooperation between the municipality of Trelleborg and Pingvin Rugby Club.
Pingvin Rugby Club invites following
Teams, ages etc: U11 (born 1997/earlier) 7 a side 2*10 min
U13 (born 1995/-97) 10 a side 2*10 min
U15 (born 1993/-95) 10 a side 2*12 min
U17 (born 1991/-93) 12 a side 2*15 min
Girls are allowed to participate in mixed teams (U11-U15), but our ambition is that we will be able to start up a few ladies teams as following:
F14 (born 1994/-96) 7 a side 2*12 min
F17 (born 1991/-94) 7 a side 2*15 min
Players not meeting the age conditions, if checked, will make the team disqualified.
Each participating club has to bring a referee on each level of participation (except U17).
Before starting the tournament we will go through the rules together, but you will also be able to find them on our internet site www.pingvin.nu.
To participate: 1500 SEK/club incl. one team + 200 SEK/ each next team, to be paid when sending the registration form before the 17th of June-08. The first 16 teams/group will be accepted.
How to get here
Trelleborg is quite a small city in the southest part of Sweden. If you want to know more, do not hesitate to visit the website www.trelleborg.se.
If you come by boat to Trelleborg or by airplane to Sturup (Malmö) or Copenhagen, you can easy move between the pitches with a special bus line for this festival.
From Sturup (Malmö) we will arrange for picking you up. If you arrive at Copenhagen there is a train going to Malmö and from there you can take a local bus to Trelleborg.
Accommodation
Trelleborg and the club will be able to serve you accommodation and / or beds, depending on the preferences of price and service. The participating clubs will have to arrange this by themselves. Several accommodations are to be found on the web site www.trelleborg.se/turism. Due to vacation period we suggest you to book as soon as possible.
The possibility to sleep on floor in schools will be offered for teams searching for cheaper solutions. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be arranged Saturday and Sunday. During the tournament the club will serve coffee, tea, soft drinks, sweets and fast food.

Participating fee: Price to participate is 1500 SEK/club incl. one team, each next team +200 SEK/team. This is to be paid together with your registration at least before the 17th of June. This money will be kept in question of draw back. Payment for meals and school accommodation has to be done before the 15th of July, for making the necessary arrangements. This amount will be paid back only in case of cancellation by mail or fax before
the 5th of August.
