Our Elite Player Development Centre is managed by Mike Hynard of Saracens RFC assisted by Jon Lambden. The EPDC will receive those lads who have been nominated by the County as having high potential with a view to furtherance of their career in Rugby Union. The centre will also be available to coaches and will help formulate a coach education programme for the County with a view to improving the personal development of our Coaches.
As the EPDC is in its infancy there are bound to be one or two teething problems until it becomes well established. Further news and details will appear here on these pages just as soon as the information becomes available.
Our EPDC is linked to Saracens RFC who have been licensed by the RFU to develop the centres in Hertfordshire, Essex and Kent. other EPDC's for Eastern Counties are at St Josephs ( Ipswich - Northampton) and at Bury (Leicester)
